Samsung DVD-R155 DVD Recorder

This unit was sold to me and it did not work I have tried to contact the seller and I cannot get in touch with him .
I am waiting on a response from him and although I trust E-bay I am leary of the sellers that they would sell something that does not work and after using the Pay Pal system i hope I can get a refund or send this unit back for a New one or replacement
Can you help.?????????

Poor quality, slow, doesn't record to DVD+R's which it does not come out and say plainly. I would not recommend it.

i bought this dvd recorder and don't support DVD+, Where's the TV Tuner? please i need my money back or if not can i get a diffrent one? please contact to me

For the price, you cannot beat this unit. Great upconvert quality and surprisingly efficient DVD recording capabilities. Recommended!

Terrible product, almost never works. Can not record or play most recordable DVD formats. Even the ones it can record on, do not work 90% of the time. DO NOT BUY!

Overall, the DVD is very easy to use. Just one button and you will have the DVD recorded. Price is excellent for what I got. I can not complaint. Everything is excellent.

It really is very finicky about whether it will play a disc or not. I've only had it one day and so far, it's playing about 1 in 4 discs. And it will NOT play anything except a DV-R disc...not even a CD! The recording quality seems okay, but the remote is extremely non-responsive, too. You have to push the buttons HARD and several times, before it will work (even with brand new, Duracell batteries in it). AND there's no built-in TV tuner. I wished I had paid more attention to such details BEFORE I ordered--or at least read the online reviews about this product. Oh, yes...this machine has NO cooling fan, so you cannot let it stay on for very long. It gets incredibly hot in a short time. I would NOT recommend this product, AT ALL. For the money, you can get a machine that records in both formats AND has a tuner and a cooling fan. Also, this machine will NOT record a show that has protected "copy", so it's NOT going to record everything you want it to--even on your cable. I won't consider another Samsung product, after seeing how subpar this one is!

***Update*** After 2 weeks, this machine quit recording, completely. Now, it's a $100 paperweight.

The company that I purchased it from was great to work with, the shipment was received in a timely manner and when I contacted them they responded immediately. I would definitely do business with Dealtree again.

The product was shipped quickly and came in expected condition. Easy to use. It was easy to set up with my Samsung TV and remote. No complaints here.
