Samsung CLX-3160FN All-In-One Laser Printer

Well I read the reviews before I was buying this product and let me tell you they did scare me a little bit, But I purchased one anyways. I love this printer it's a great product,little slow but for the money I think its well worth it. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a economical color laser printer.

Great printer, great value. This printer offers excellent print quality. The method of changing toner cartridges is different and an excellent feature.

Very good printer the color is sharp and clear. Copys and scans are just as sharp. I am very impressed with the quilty of print I receice with this printer.

this thing sells in stores for 4-500. It's worth that much. The print quality is excellent, the network scanner is easy to use, the scanner feed is fast, etc. It looks like it'll be expensive to operate, but that's fine with me since we don't do a ton of printing. I recommend this printer.

I can't give a rating because we didn't get a chance to use it. It came in the mail broken. I think that the seller should not be able to give me a negative feedback, because we paid quickly and expected a working product. Instead I received broken merchandise, and it was not the shipper's fault. The company just sent faulty equipment that did not work. I really don't think that I should have received negative feedback, because I paid quickly through PayPal, and just wanted what was advertised.

I received the item on time. A part was damaged while in transit. Called the seller and they willingly promised to replace it with no cost to me. Received the replacement part and then returned the damaged piece. They are extremely excellent in communications and commitment. I am happy with this transaction.

This is rated as a value priced low end product. I would have to agree. It IS a pretty rugged unit, and does a good job for what it cost. Samnsung offers decent support for it, and it works with both PC's and Mac's, as well as across a network. Print quality is decent, and toner cartridges are among the least expensive anywhere. I have an issue with paper jams, and hopefully that is a maintenance problem and not a design flaw. All in all, it is a good product for what it does and is capable of doing, especially considering the price compared to similar products and other brands.

Almost a good printer. I own other Samsung black output printers that work flawlessly, however this model is just not a good laser printer. I own 2 of these models, and both will jam the paper about every 10 sheet or so. Also the print is somewhat sharper than a inkjet printer, but NOT as sharp as a good laser printer should be. The colors are OK, but a inkjet will produce more true colors. Also the toner cartridges are very limited in volume compared to most other printers. They also have a tendency to not print true reproductions every copy, some will be missing some color or black print in a print job of 10 or more. Save up and buy a better laser than this model. Samsung missed the mark.

I absolutely love this printer. It received tons of printing time and some pretty hefty printing jobs and has printed great every time. Had to downsize due to space, but for a busy office environment, it's ideal!

Prior to this purchase I used an ink jet printer. When comparing "operational" costs to use my old printer versus this new one. The old printer can't come close! In fact in just a couple months of not having to buy ink my new color laser printer will have paid for it's self.

Some might disagree with this thinking that the "toner" costs more. Humbug! You can purchase all four toners for less then the ink alone, and print more pages with laser than in ink.

The least thing I like about this printer is that it doesn't scan into PDF format. So we are holding onto the old printer to do that. Over all we are quite happy with the quality and cost saving benefits of this great machine.

This is my first experience with a laser printer, so I have nothing to compare with. So far it has lived up to all my expectations. As there are three college students using this we are relying on it to control print and copy cost. The added bonus was being a network share printer. So far so good.

I had trouble with this printer at first. The seller was excellent about communicating with me and sending a replacement immediately. The printer itself is good, especially for the price. It is up to about $500 for a new one. I am pleased so far with the quality. Note that the print diver that comes on CD w/ the unit is for windows XP only. Other drivers need to be downloaded from Samsung website. Another note is that I have not yet found a glossy laser paper that can go through without burning up in the fuser. If you like to print photos on glossy, be aware of this.

I had an issue with my first imaging unit. After replacing it I've had no further problems. It's fast & reliable. You can buy genuine Samsung toner on eBay for a reasonable price making it pretty cheap to operate. Only thing I wished it had was 11x17 capability. That would make it perfect.

Samsungs other products like their LCD TV and other products are usually excellent...but not this Samsung CLX-3160FN laser-printer...it is much slower than advertised/our best speed is 11-12 pages per minute. It takers forever to warm up and worst of all it prints very light even when darkness is in max mode...we just received oura and were more than dissapointed. Suggest you try another brand. RM

When the box came it did NOT come with any instructions on how to use the product. I contacted the seller twice and they never replied. Instead, they kept emailing me to purchase a service plan. Why would anyone give them more money to "service" their product when they can't even reply on how to use the product in the first place? DO NOT buy from this seller. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!
