Sammy's Hill - Funny Look at Politics & Working World
3 of 5 people found this review helpful.
Sammy's Hill was a funny glimpse of what it is like to live, date and work in Washington,D.C. If you like West Wing and Sex in the City, this is your type of book. Sammy is "every woman", attractive, neurotic, and intelligent, insecure in everything but what she knows about healthcare.
The only slow part of the book was when it became clear to everyone but Sammy where the romantic plot line was going. Once you got past that, it was clear sailing, the story about her working life was just as entertaining as the romance part, if not more so.
There were a couple LAUGH out loud moments, so becareful where you read it. I'm looking forward to more fiction from K. Gore.
