The American Girl Doll, Samantha, is a beautiful doll. These books enlighten the girls who have or get this doll to know quite a bit about the early 1900's and so while they can play and take care of and love Samantha, it is an excellent and painless learning tool!

These are great books for grade school girls about a time in history that they know little about. It teaches manners and customes sometimes forgotten. I bought it for my grandaughter who loves everything about American girl dolls and also her name is Samantha.
