These are great books for grade school girls about a time in history that they know little about. It teaches manners and customes sometimes forgotten. I bought it for my grandaughter who loves everything about American girl dolls and also her name is Samantha.

) I bought this as a gift for my 9 year old cousin. I read the American Girl books when I was pre-teen and enjoyed them very much. Not only are they entertaining, they include history without being boring. I believe these are great!

) The American Girl Doll, Samantha, is a beautiful doll. These books enlighten the girls who have or get this doll to know quite a bit about the early 1900's and so while they can play and take care of and love Samantha, it is an excellent and painless learning tool!
