Saltwater Sportfishing (PlayStation, 2001)

I bought this game for my two boys. We had purchased this game in the past, someone else borrowed it and never returned it. My younger son always talked about "that awesome fishing game". I searched for it on many websites without luck. Then came here and found it. My kids are hooked on it again. It gives you the chance to fish all sorts of fish, from snook to shark. It takes you through different parts of the world. You can change your bait and line depending on what you feel will work better for you. It has all sorts of great details even thought it is an old game. We love it!

This is a good fishing game with good sound affects and great looking fish. It has a good selection of fishing gear and baits and gives you a realistic feel. I enjoyed it and really caught some big ones, and thats no fish story!!

I bought it because i love fishing i have always wanted to play a salt water fishing game and now i can!!!

husband loves fishing and on his new tv this is almost like being there when the house is quiet. it's a great game for those who like to fish but don't have time

There no better thing to do than real fishing, but this game is a great option (specially for kids) who miss a day of fishing due to weather conditions. Also, is a great tool to introduce kids to lures and gear in general; how to fight a fish and learn that not always you're going to get it.

Classic ps1 title with fishing flair, but not enough to keep you hooked. Although this game offers a small variety of saltwater fishes, it lacks the clarity of some of the more basic bass type games out there. It does not allow you to choose a casting point location, it is positioned by driving the boat, and the actual marine life is limited and repetitious feeling when catching the fish. Although there is considerable more fight to get the these fish on board, it does not feel realistic when the fight is on, its more like a left/right tennis match than actually trying to reel them in. Game is entertaining, but only to those that really appreciate the fishing game genre. Enjoy at your own risk.

as a buyer please stay away from this seller - he recieved my money on Feb 9thé08 today is March 18th and I still have not received the item. He said on March 3rd whoops forgot to send it out - so what does he say I will send out in a few days - I stated sir you forgot to send it would you please send out today - his response was that I was being difficult and he did not want to deal with me and he would return my money. Well today is March 18th he has not returned my money I have filed under pay pal - he has also lied to them told him he shipped it on March 13th so they requested details on tracking number etc. pay pal is still waiting. All I can say about this is thank god it was not a lot of money. NO DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR STAY AWAY GO TO ANOTHER VENDOR ON E BAY OR TO A STORE SAVE YOURSELF THE NIGHTMARE.

We bought Saltwater Fishing because we are avid boaters and prefer saltwater over fresh. We had the Bass fishing game and it is pretty boring. We like this game much better. Seems to be more challenging and engaging

The family enjoys fishing games and this was the only sport fishing one we could find all the other's are mainly bass but we have enjoyed the game since we got it

i had this game a while back. someone borrowed it from me and must have liked it as much as me cause i never got it back! went online and was out-bidded. found a buy-it-now for way less than bid price and this one was brand new! still love it. super glad i repurchased!
