Movie Description
RELOAD is a sequel to the popular Animé series SAIYUKI. A blend of action, fantasy, and comedy that is based partly on a 16th-century Chinese folktale and partly on a modern-day Japanese manga, the SAIYUKI franchise follows Buddhist monk Sanzo on his sacred mission to destroy demons across the land of Shangri-la. Sanzo is joined on his quest by three misfits, each with his own particular skills: the half-demon Goku, the magic-wielding Hakkai, and the lucky gambler Gojyo. In this first volume of episodes, the quartet continues on their way, fighting new demons and other challenges with elements of myth, anachronistic gun battles, and epic action set-pieces.
