This book is a great children's classic and should be read to every child! A wonderful story about an young elephant who, basically, overcomes an identity crisis. I used to make my mom and grandmother read this story to me over and over again until I fell asleep, so now I am passing it on! I enjoy the illustrations, plus you can always teach a child what sounds animals pictured make as you read! Love it!

Great Book!This is a great little story about an elephant who learns one of life's basic lessons about being yourself. The illustrations are absolutely beautiful and vibrant. My 20-month-old daughter loves to "read" it to herself over and over. She's even insisted on snuggling with it during her naps! Kids of all ages will enjoy this one.

It was very nice, Great shape and fast shipping, I bought for my 3 month old nephew as a Christmas present, His parents are collecting all of the little golden books and that was one of the ones that we could not find in any store I was happy when I found it on ebay!!!
