Safecracker (2000) (PC Games, 2000)

Somebody proove me wrong. I bought 3 copies and tried on 2 machines. Games says XP pro but it does not run. You get some sort of skeliton message and and error. They say there's a patch fix for it, but it didn't work. Now they're saying it's compatible with VISTA. You gotta be joking. VISTA is horrible anyway but that's not what we're talking about here. Buy this game ONLY if you have WIN 98 or eariler.

I found this game while searching for some games which would not be filled with agressions, blood or shooting and other things I do not like too much. What I really like - is solving harmless riddles and having adventure-fun at the same time. This game includes all the wishes I have: it is adventure pure ... super 3D optic, a load of very clever riddles which need to be solved to open the doors of the next rooms. You have to find the testamental will of the Safe-Inventor who had lived in that house before. He died a short time before, and there seem to be a hand full of relatives, who try to gain the inheritance this man left.
The music, the graphic-design, the story, and last not least the riddles is absolutely perfect! The riddles are really difficult - but yet to solve even without looking into the "Walkthrough".

game not for the novice pc computer user/gamer!! excellent puzzle game for windows. game was developed before windows xp was developed!! so there may be some inherant differences on xp and vista!! however there are internet fixes that can cure your ills. for xp and vista. like using the windows classic mode on your pc!! again excellent puzzle game!!! review by used1goods a ebay and half.com seller and buyer

I bought this game based on the listing description which stated: Windows 95/98/ME/XP. When I received the game, sure enough, the box says Windows 95/98/ME/XP, but as soon as I opened it the jewel case and the cd itself say Windows 95/98, no mention of ME/XP. I installed it and as soon as I tried to play it and got a "Skeleton Projector" error I contacted the manufacturer, Dreamcatchergames.com asking for a solution and no answer (good customer service). This is a waste of money, unless you want to go back to Windows 95 or 98 just to play this game.
