Safe House (DVD, 2000)

I love this movie. It is about a really paranoid guy that thinks the government is out to get him so he rarely leaves his house. When he does he wares disguises and proactive gear. His whole house is a fortress with all kinds of security and enough guns to supply a mall army. I mean he has hid guns everywhere one could think of.

Overall the acting is great. The production is great. The plot is great. I really think that this is a wonderful movie that not many people have ever head of.

The movie was very exciting and full of suspense. I had seen the movie before and really liked it. The acting is great. I recommend for everyone to see it.

Great little sleeper movie. Patrick Stewart does a great job of portraying the secret agent that is slowing falling into Alzheimers, yet until the end one is never sure that he was a real secret agent. Every one thinks he is an eccentric old man, because he is, with good reason. For a movie with only seven players it keeps you on the edge & wondering through-out.

I bought this movie Safe House due to the fact that it was recommended. I was basically recommeded. Michalle to be precise recommended. I received it in fairly good time. It was like brand new whenever I got it. The movie was Excellent. It was basically about an older man who lives in a Really Nice house and has old timers. His daughter is trying to deal with it. Mace (the older man) spends his time during drills which is bascially when he target pracitices around the house with either a loaded pistol or a paint gun. (He is convinced that a presidnet candadate is trying to kill him which is why he is having drills) Mace also hired a friend to break in his house every once in a while just to make sure that Mace is ready for an intruder because he is really convinced that someone is trying to kill him. He has went through house keeper after house keeper. His daughter also tries to find him a care taker who will take care of him and watch him 24 hours a day and is suppose to make sure Mace doesn't hurt anybody.
It is Really Super Super good movie. The acting is incredible. Just Well Done!!

My wife and I caught this show on cable years ago and both loved the story. 7 years later we were discussing Patrick Stewart and both recalled this film and wanted to see it again, and to be able to force some friends to watch it, too. It's a well written story and well acted. I'll say no more because it's worth seeing with no spoilers.

The movie came exactly as said it did, it keeps the suspense and mystery to the whole thing. I saw it on Hallmark and decided i wanted the movie and my fiance would love it too. Which he does.

This is a movie I had seen about 10 years ago. I thought it was very good, but never saw it again on TV. I couldn't find it anywhere, but found it here. It is funny, sad, and serious, and I think it is still a good movie. Most people I have talked to about it, have never heard of it. Try it, and see for your self.

Funny story why I bought this DVD...... I went to Blockbusters and rented this movie -- After watching 95% of the movie it stopped. Went back to Blockbusters and they said they had no more of these in stock nor did any stores in the surrounding area have them. I really wanted to see the end so said hey, lets check out eBay! eBay had several sellers with this movie so I was able to get one within days....... I got to see the end of the movie and it was worth it!!
