I have loved all the Magical Drake Sisters Books! This was one of my favorite...I do love them all! The Drake Sisters all have their own unique powers and use them! Hannah Drake has the ability to control the elements but cannot control Jonas Harrington. Jonas isn’t the only one who has it really bad for her! This book has it all romance,sex and mystery! A sinister darkness descends upon them. Can Jonas save Hannah before she and the entire Drake family meet a horrible unknown fate? I was instantly addicted to this entire series. I can't wait for the Next Book! Any Book by Christine Feehan has to be Awesome!!!

Safe Harbor is another terrific installment in the Drake Sisters series. It is the 5th story, and perhaps the most bitter-sweet. Jonas and Hannah are two of my favorite characters and have made major appearances in several other Drake sisters novels.
While there is a magical or paranormal element to all of the series, this book is primarily romantic suspense with plenty of danger, excitement, and intrigue. The mystery was somewhat predictable, but as with all good novels, the characters carry the story.
Jonas, the sheriff with the secret past, and Hannah, the super model with the hidden fears, make for interesting reading as they work through the issues that have kept them from acknowledging their feelings for each other.
The stage is also set for future installments in the series as the foundation of 2 more relationships is formed.
Each of the Drake sisters novels is a stand-alone story, but if you would like to read them in order...

I'm a HUGE Christine Feehan fan anyway and LOVE the Drake series. There is not a thing I didn't like about this one......keeps up with the Drake story line and still makes the book about "Hannah"

Most romance books are somewhat predictable (which is why I gave the book a good rating). Guy loves girl and hot sex. The Drake Sisters series by Christine Feehan is very enjoyable. This is Hannah's story but told mostly from Jonas' view point. Jonas is the Sheriff and so this story has more intrigue and action. The magic the sisters wield is different then what we mostly think of but then again the sisters aren't witches. They are born with gifts the way little girls fantasy daydreams envision the world. Each sister possesses different gifts and viewpoints. Hannah is special in all the books so it was truly enjoyable to see her grow and bloom.

In typical me fashion I really just wanted to skip ahead to this book but I toughed it out and read the preceeding books. (Not that it was a real difficulty. Each of the Drake books are well worth the read.)
In Safe Harbor Feehan deviates a little from the general way boy meets girl because the two main characters have known each other for years. I wasn't sure what to expect but it isn't the events that take place.
Quite frankly, I can't put the book down. Feehan has an amazing ability to keep you guessing as to the big bad in her books. They are part paranormal, part romance, and part mystery all wrapped up in a package with characters that you'd really like to meet.
Definitely worth a read. The only bummer is that the one following this isn't out yet. Basically, well worth the read. Great dialogue. Unpredictable endings, well within reason. Wonderful characters that you wish you could spend more time with. Give it a read.

I, like many others, wait for the next book in this series. Christine Feehan is by far one of the most talented writers today. If you enjoy authors like Julie Garwood and Jayne Ann Krentz, you're gonna love Christine Feehan.

Safe Harbor by Christine FeehanThere hasn't been a Christine Feehan book that I have not throughly enjoyed. If you want a book that has steamy romance scenes and lots of action than you definately want to get a Christine Feehan. I hated what Hannah had to go through in her book, to me that would be aweful for anyone, but it definately made to book very interesting, and Jonas, well who wouldn't love Jonas even though he hasn't quite gotten out to the stone age yet. Overall I would rate this book a 9 out of 10. It was very good, I couldn't put it down.
