The Saddle Club - The First Adventure (DVD, 2003)

I like the saddle club because it is a great show to watch and the movies are also great to watch I have at least two movies of The Saddle Club!!!

In the last year, I decided to introduce my daughter to The Saddle Club series. My initial reason for wanting to buy this DVD was because my daughter had started riding Hunters in a program similar to the show (except for the Australian accents and countryside)and I thought it might help her learn terminology, safety rules, etc. Oh yeah, that is where Saddle Club is filmed, and the setting for the show; Australia.

After watching the first two DVD's I bought of Saddle Club, not only did my daughter love it, but I was hooked TOO! It's a great show that parents will enjoy watching with the kids. Each episode has a different "life's lesson" that is taught, ie. being a good friend, following rules, to be forgiving, etc. I have been really disappointed with the kid shows out there today...even Disney Shows say things I feel are inappropriate; for example: "shut-up", "your stupid", "I hate you". I consider these "bad words" in our house, so it was a nice change to find a kid show that didn't have these things; only good quality content.
I was only able to find two different DVD's locally in stores and wanted to slowly buy the whole series to complete the set....that's when I turned to Ebay. The sound quality is somewhat poor. Throughout the movie, the sound level goes up and down where your having to constantly adjust the volume. But in weighing the pros and cons I still have to give it 5 STARS.

FINAL REVIEW: This is a FIVE STAR show when it comes to "what do you really want your kids watching?". I choose this show over any others out there (even with some volume issues)! It's like the Andy Griffith Show of 2008!

Our youngest is a big Saddle Club nut. The shows are wholesome for her to watch. She also learns some good horse facts that are good to know when we are riding. There is no bad language or immoral ideas.

Great DVD's for young people who love horses. Some good "messages" in the scrapes and personalities of the characters are often true to life.

My daughter is very pleased with this movie and continues to watch it over and over again.I was extremely thrilled about the price!! I have been searching everywhere for the Saddle Club movies and came up empty handed in the stores, was very happy to find them on EBay for a such a great deal.

great story lines and a must 4 any young adult or child who loves horse's and adventure. great character's and lots of good time spent watching with my daughter and the horse's they us in the making are amazing.

I bought this for the kids and I watched it with them and it was a good dvd. It showed the girls that they need to get along with others.
