Sacred Mirrors by Alex Grey, Carlo McCormick, Ken Wilber (1990, Paperback)

Alex Gray is quite fascinating and this book gives great insight as to why. I would be very interested in attending his gallery in NYC.

i persoanlly perfer this to transfigurations. The sacred mirrors are actually in touch with some spirtual and energetic evolution. My fav pice is "the journy of the wounded healer" its such a beautiful represetion of the journy of healing and loveing yourself. Oh and the skill is some what ego-less. it feels much more focused than transfigurations.

either way. i respect the art the man made, not his choice to become a drug addict.

this paperback is a timeless classic for anyone who enjoys experiencing art on another level. Alex Grey is at the top of the list when it comes to meditative and psychedelic art. his images and the writings found in this book are worth owning.

Alex Grey's art helps remind me of the connection between us all, and of body, mind, and spirit. I've read some beautiful, spiritual books that have helped me grow, but Sacred Mirrors visualizes what those authors seem to be expressing to me.
