SVP DC-12E 3.0 Megapixel / 12 Megapixel (interpolated)

I'm not really up on cameras, but I needed one to take pictures for my eBay auctions. When I first got it... well, I would have sooner put it back in the box and re-listed it. But after I took a minute it started to make more sense. I had no problem what so ever installing it on my computer, other than the computer was new too and had a gang of features I wasn't aware of at the time. But once I got it figured out, it was really easy and the pictures transfer quickly.
The pictures are of good quality and color, but there are so many "features" and settings with this camera- for me- it was confusing and took a lot of time to get it set up- and then actually take pictures.
My recomendation- don't buy it.
Lesson learned- don't buy a camera you aren't familiar with.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT THE SOFTWARE THAT COMES WITH THIS CAMERA IS USELESS WHICH ALSO MAKES THE CAMERA USELESS

I buy A 2007 NEW 12MP Slim DIGITAL CAMERA w/ GIANT 3.0" SCREEN
it's really a junk camera, any cellular phone can take better picture than this fake cam.
Cheap as possible, unable to do correct picture.
Save your money.

The only thing neat about this camera is its looks. Thin with a big LCD screen. The Camera does not follow instructions and takes lousy pictures. It certainly not near the camera it is said to be. It has to be the worst of the worst.I have been ripped off for $145.00 because the camera just simply does not work. My advise to all considering a SVP Digital Camera is dont buy. I cant believe a product this sorry is allowed in the market place.

i liked the new style look, and the price was even better, but i should of just went with my instinct and bought the canon power shot that i wanted ,screan is blurry takes to long to focus to blurry, dark, dont buy it thanks.

Silicon Valley Peripherals is good at one thing only and that is complete and absolute deception. The sell the most inferior product on the market and charge $30.00 in shipping for what actual cost is $7.00.

Please do yourself a favor before making a purchase with them and look up thier ebay trade name clippercutie or Silicon Valley Peripherals with Ripoff Report or Google.

You will be glad you did.

I bought an SVP camera for my trip to Hawaii and I feel like I was taken. After a few days the camera quit working. They say they guarantee their products for a year but they never answer any of your correspondence. I tried to contact the e-bay seller. I was sent a generic response stating that they wouldn't respond persononally to my message. Instead they directed my to SVP's complaint web site where you had to send a message to their tech support. After 3 attempts to get some sort of contact or information from them I gave up. Now I'm going to complain to e-bay to see what I can do. The seller really didn't stand behind the product they sell either. The seller has a good rating but that is for their shipping and selling abilities. By the time any procuct you've purchased quits on you, you've already given them positive feedback. The moral of the story - if it sounds too good to be true - it probably is. By the way, I gooled Silicon Valley Peripherials and found a ton of unhappy people that bought their sub-standard products.

i can only say "never buy a svp camera" even if they have good models. no customer care no after sales service.

if u need a part what ever u r ready to pay for it u can not find a service reponse to your mails.
