this is by far the best sports game i've ever played (included ssx: on tour). my roommate introduced this to me and i can say that there is only one other game that i have spent hours upon hours upon hours playing more.
i will say it takes a little getting used to - even a little frustrating too. for me it was one of those games, that you actually have to get worse before you getting really good on. it's very challenging and will suck you in. it also allows you to customize your own character with gear and apparel.
and if you want to get the most out of this game, try for the platinum metals. i've gotten more than a few and it wasn't easy in the least.
