SEGA Superstars Tennis (Wii, 2008)

After playing this game, I have to say it impresses me even more than I thought it would. It's fun and easy to pickup and learn, but isn't a knockover.

The game itself has a multitude of variety, and for being a sports-themed game has some incredibly fun "missions" in the standard mode of play. These are centered more around the Wiimote's D-Pad and feature anything from dodging attacks and collecting rings (Sonic's section) to more. There is plenty to unlock, including music, characters, and courts. I won't spoil the fun by saying which ones, but suffice to say there are some SEGA classics that I'd completely forgotten about until playing.

This is a MUST for anyone that likes tennis and/or Sonic Team.

This game is similar to the 'Tennis' in Wii sports, but there are more things to learn. For instance there are 'special moves' for the players, etc.
This is rated E 10+ and I would agree with the rating. You would definelty have to be at least 10 to understand the controls for the special moves, etc.

this game has great graphics, and is so much more fun than the wii sports
version. my grandkids play it all the time, and they just love it. I've played it too, and I'm almost 60, it was lots of fun.

Any game that requires my kid to stand about and move around is better than one that has him sitting like a lump on the couch, and this one's just plain fun! Plenty of your child's favorite characters to choose from, guaranteed clean family fun!

I BOUGHT THIS wii GAME FOR MY 7 YEAR OLD AND SURPRISINGLY HE TOLD ME HE LOVES THE GAME SO MUCH HE WANTS TO PLAY TENNIS NEXT YEAR IN SUMMER CAMP GREAT GAME!!!

Pros - Great colorful graphics, lots of unlockable extras and enough game play modes to keep you busy.

Cons - The controls. just does not have the crisp accurate feel that Wii Sports tennis offers.

Overall a fun game but far from perfect.

If you like the wii sports tennis game, you will love this one even better!!! Fun characters and arenas.

A little expensive for the content which is in the game. I noticed the price has dropped now but the game is very bland.

I am still a big fan of the original Wii Sports Core games including the Wii Tennis. This game had a huge delay in hitting the ball which can throw you off. I was not highly impressed in the character interaction or the background settings.

This game is a good starter tennis game for the family!

if you are a adult buying this game for you, because you like tennis, or the wii sports version, DONT BUY THIS GAME. it is strictly for KIDS, even then it is not a easily controlled game,but the biggest problem is the extras, they put so much animated extras in the backgrourd while you are playing, it is hard to focus on your player or the ball. DONT PAY ALOT IF YOU BUY THIS GAME. really. you should buy this game only if it is very very cheap.

Wasn't what i thought it'd be, Thought it'd be more like the tennis in the wii sport bundle, but it's not.

sonic he cheats, you must have good reflexes and fast skills and good eyes to play this game and good blood preasure lol

I like how you can switch between standing up abd playing tennis as if you are really swinging or sitting down and enjoying it. Graffics are great and is fun for all ages.

I got this game for my sixteen year old autistic daughter and from what I can tell she really enjoys it. She already had the Wii sports but she especially wanted this along with the tennis racket which I also purchased on eBay.

I like pretty much everything about the game except for the views. The way that the court is shown when your playing in 2 player mode always makes it difficult for at least one player to see where the ball is going to hit in there court and also gives you a poor view for trying to judge when you need to swing in order to hit the ball back.

multi player is okay but playing by yourself playing the mini games is fun you never want to but down the remote until you look at the clock and see it is way pass your bed time

I loved the game. The entire family had a great time playing this game. It is great for all ages. Even the 3 year old could play. I would recommend this game to all. It makes family night especially fun. If you are thinking about purchasing this game....don;t hesitate...just buy it. You won't be disappointed
