This is the worst remix/re-master I have ever listened to. Dave sounds like he's drunk in some of the songs, I can plainly tell that the voice is louder than some of the music (at least what I have listened to which was not past hangar 18). Maybe if you never heard the album before you might not be able to tell the difference. I am glad as can be that I had never purchased any of the other albums. I still would like to know what would ever possess Dave to remix these already good albums and totally destroy them. This is just my opinion though I have heard everyone as they were released and have seen Megadeth in concert twice.

  Megadeth rocks hard!!!
Review created: 03/28/09

This cd is just another example of the vast talent of Dave Mustane... from open to close its rock your socks off in overdrive; and his messages also bear much truth. Although you may have to listen to it a few times through to get it completely and listen to a voice that's less than beautiful, the music is where its at, and this is some good metal!

great cd plus it's remastered and expanded
Review created: 03/13/09

One of Megadeth's best plus it's remastered and expanded. This one is totally worth the money. This is when Marty F. joined up with the band as back-up guitarist.

  Megadeth - Rust In Peace

One of the slickest and tightest metal albums of 1990. If you haven't heard this album - get it! Megadeth show that they have the speed, skill and finesse to put together an articulate and energizing album. By far and away their best album in my opinion!

  Best album of all time?
Review created: 07/21/07

This album is perfect in nearly every way, and is the crowning achievement of Dave Mustaine's career. Nothing he has done since this album even comes close to measuring up to a small fraction of this album. Don't buy United Abominations, that album is horrible. If you like this go buy Peace Sells and Killing is my Business, those are the best Megadeth albums. If you like shredding leads (in many cases 10+ solos per song!), genius riffing, and fast tempo thrash metal you probably already own this album, but if not GET IT!

The first album you should buy by allmighty MEGADETH
Review created: 06/30/07

I first bought this album after I bought The Crusade by Trivium. I was very impresed and I read that Matt Heafy's Favirote guitar album was this so I bought it. This band will change your life and become esential to your sanity (or for me my very existence on this planet). You will absolutely love it. I am now in the process of buying all of Megadeth's material. After buying this buy therre new album United Abominations
