Russell Hobbs RHG2T 2-Slice Toaster

We love the toaster, so much so that we bought another one after the first one broke. I'm not sure what went wrong with the first one, but I suspect it had electrical problems. When pushing down on the lever to lower the bread, it would not stay down. I think it ws electronically controlled, and something short-circuited. I infomred the servicde department, and they indicated that they never had that issue before so we wrote it off and bought another one since shipping to/fro the service center would have been too much.

Not only beautiful to look at on my kitchen counter, it really toasts uniformly on both sides of the bread. Easy to adjust for different kinds of toast, love the wooden handle. I have tried many toasters over the past year, and this is the only one that works so uniformly every time. Glad I bought it on Ebay.
