"Rush" is a beautiful guitar blues pipe dream.
From the everlasting classic guitar blues of Buddy Guy to the newer classic blues of Eric Clapton, "Rush" is one of the best guitar blues CDs I own. My wife and I attended Clapton's three day, 2004 Crossroads Guitar Festival held at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas where Buddy Guy was one of Clapton's main guests. It was a whos-who of guitar blues greats! While this CD is just a sampling of all of the the wonderful music from the "Rush" movie, it's an assortment of guitar blues that is very hard to beat. Even though there are some great cuts from the movie that didn't make it onto the CD, including Robin Trower's "Bridge of Sighs" which was used to open as well as to close the movie, the ones that made it are absolutely great! If you like guitar blues at all, this is one of the very best examples to own. I give it a 6 out of 5!
