Runaway Bride (DVD, 2000, Sensormatic)

While I usually love Julia Roberts movies, this one just didn't do much for me. The story revolves around the character played by Roberts, a bride who gets engaged a lot, but never married. Richard Gere plays a reporter who tries to get the scoop, but ends up falling in love with the runaway bride. The story line just seemed flat to me, and the acting was just okay.

The Classic chemestry with Roberts and Gere. Love them both. BUT was not a Pretty woman if that is what you are looking for. This one has it's own kind of a NEW Chemestry between the two. Although they are Brilliant together no matter What they star in. I loved this movie. It did make me cry and it did make me want more!
I do recommend it as the classic type of movie to have a copy in the house for that rainy day!

we have loved having this movie in our home. we often watch my nieces and nephew. My nieces have loved watching that movie over and over. Even my husband who is not a Richard Geer fan really enjoyed the movie.

I love the cute romance intwined with a little comedy. I had the movie but on vhs and needed to upgrade to dvd. So worth it!

Richard Greer and Julia Roberts are excellent actors. I love Julia Roberts no matters what she plays in any movie. In this movie she gets engaged with many men but when its time to walk down the isle shes not there. This is a very good movie.

The movie came in good time. I have been looking for this movie for a good price and I found it here. I decided to buy it because it was at a good price.

This is one of my favorite movies. It keeps you laughing throught, and it has a sweet love story. Julia Roberts and Richard Gere make an awesome pair.

Though i love to watch Julia Roberts's every movie, infact i am just crazy abt her smile and i like the pair of Gere's & Roberts. I spent good amount too to rent this movie.

The story was just below my expectations. He is a reporter & she is a small town girl..Rest Watch this movie once when you just want to kill your time.

Julia Roberts fans should love this movie, I know I do. Richard Gere and Julia Roberts have such great chemistry. If you loved "My Best Friends Wedding" you should like this, too! It's a great movie.
