Rumor Has It (DVD, 2006, Full Frame)

This was one of the better movies I have seen this year. It is funny, sad and heartwarming, a combination that usually makes up a good movie. Jennifer Aniston does a wonderful job and if you've ever doubted a decision you've made in the love department, you can relate to her. Shirley MacLaine is absolutely humorous in this film. Her quips and smart comments keep you laughing and of course Kevin Costner, a wonderful actor who is always nice to look at. I wasn't disappointed in this film and would recommend it if you enjoy a good 'finding yourself love story'.

I purchased this DVD after seeing in the theaters months ago when it came out. It is a very funny light hearted flick.

The movie is very very funny with spoof of "The Graduate" Storyline. Jennifer Aniston is great as always, Shirley MacLaine is hilarius and Kevin Costner is still gorgeous at 53.
It's a great movie, you'll enjoy if you like romantic comedies.

This is a great movie. Sara(Anniston) is recently engaged to a great guy. She is freaked out by the concept of marriage. When she returns home to Pasadena for her sisters wedding, she discovers that the movie and book "The Graduate" was based on her family's lives. She discovers that her mom ran off a week prior to the marriage of her father to Mexico. Her mother had an affair with an ex-lover(Beau Burroughs played by Costner) of her mother's(Sara's Grandmother). This was about the same time she was conceived, so she rushes to find out if Bueu is her father. She finds that it isn't her father and has an affair with Bueu. (Three generations have slept with the same guy, yuk.) This jeopardizes the relationship with her fiance. This is a very funny movie. You'll love it.

This movie showcases Jennifer Anniston at her funniest and most talented! She can express a world of emotion with just a lift of the eyebrow, sidelong glance, etc., without having to say one word! She is truly a gifted actress and is at the heart of what makes this movie work! The movie is light, fun, funny, at times a bit tearful, and is most engaging. Of course, Kevin Costner is so good you forget he is acting! But you can also say the same for Shirley McLaine. As you can tell, I loved the movie and will watch it again . . . and most likely again after that!

I found this film interesting and I was kind of on the edge of my seat wondering what the final outcome would be. I was somewhat squimish that it seemed to border on incestuous relationships, however, I can't say enough good things about Shirley MacLaine's performance in this movie, it saved the whole thing!! I would recommend it to others.

I like the movie, the dvd was not scratched, and the seller was on top of their game. They got it out quickly, and unscathed. I am very happy with the dvd, and will more than likely buy from this seller again.

I had to have this movie to add to my huge collection. I'm a Jennifer Aniston fan and can't believe I didn't add this movie sooner. Will watch over and over!

I paid for this movie and still haven't recieved it. There has been plently of time to get it, but still haven't. Now I'm of the money which I paid for this.

Cute movie. Kevin Costner was great, as was Jennifer Aniston. Shirly MacLaine was awesome... Fun and silly.

Little known movie, but actually a pretty good one with excellent performances from Shirley Maclaine and Jennifer Anniston. If you like Jennifer Aniston, you'll like this movie. A decent movie that managed to fly under the radar.

We like this movie alot so we wanted to buy it. And I wanted to start using my ebay account more and I did.

Very good movie. I enjoyed it very much. I am a big fan of Jennifer Anistan and she was great in this movie. I would watch it again!

I am totally discouraged with the fact that I never received this purchase. The seller was banned from receiving payments through PayPal, the only form of payment the seller would accept. I will think twice about purchasing on Ebay in the future.

I had been looking for this DVD for sometime and when It came up at a good deal I went ahead and bought it. I am happy I did because it was a good movie that made me laught and get some happy emotions from it. I hoped I'd be able to find it on EBAY because I knew that I wouldn't have to pay retail and still get a good deal and somebody else was selling an item that they had viewed and was in great quality. I am glad I looked on EBAY and once again found what I wanted.

Love the movie - love the characters - love the actors. I grew up in Pasadena so it was interesting to hear what they had to say about the place.

I purchase the movie because of Jennifer Aniston, I did enjoy the movie. I hae watched this movie four times now.

i like the movie i like jennifer and kevin costner..its a decent movie, i liked all the characters in it. it was a bit different kind of movie for her, and shirley mcclaine was good in it as well.it was serious and funny at the same time.it was a good flick, it was a funny flick, it was very enjoyable.....

I loved the movie so wanted to buy it and purhased or thought I had purchased the movie from a seller that had 100% positive feedback. I gave the seller my payment info and never heard from the seller again. She never took payment and never sent me the DVD I called her at least 6 times and e-mailed her just as many times and never heard from the person ever.
I finally went to a video store where I live and purchased the movie that I wanted.

I liked the story. Could have been funnier. Started out slow but got better as it went on. I had heard it was realy good.

I thought this movie could have been a little better. It was OKAY. Jennifer Aniston is a good actress, this movie just does not live up to her standards.
