Synopsis
A writing duo has produced this literary thriller about a couple of Princeton students who become obsessed with a maddeningly cryptic Renaissance text, the Hypnerotomchia Poliphili. As Tom Sullivan and his friend Paul Harris begin to understand the book's coded message, even at the expense of their own personal relationships (not to mention their studies), an immense and horrifying secret is gradually revealed--and their lives are in danger.

Publisher's Note
"Caldwell and Thomason have created a stunning first novel; a perfect blend of suspense and a sensitive coming of age story. If Scott Fitzgerald, Umberto Ecco, and Dan Brown teamed up to write a novel, the result would be THE RULE OF FOUR. An extraordinary and brilliant accomplishment - a must read."

--Nelson DeMille

Did you like The Da Vinci Code?

This book has a great mystery quality to it- the unraveling of codes something like Dan Brown attempts in Angels and Demons and Da Vinci Code. The premise is different- set at Princeton, but still full of intrigue and discovery. A good literary setting, but also a fascinating story of relationships and obsessions.
