Rudy (DVD, 2000, Special Edition)

I can watch this movie over and over and over. My favorite movie of ALL TIME. It's such a compelling story and inspires me everytime I watch it. I think the reason this was such a hit, was because a lot of people can relate to RUDY's perserverance, in a metaphorical sense.

A 10 year old nephew was taken in by the movie to the point of watching TV every time the the movie would appear.
As the movie is both inspirational and heartwarming, what better for a child to watch.
For Christmas I felt this to be a great gift in order for him to have the ability to view whenever he wanted.
His recently aquired German shorthair puppy is of course named "Rudy".
Need I say any more?

Have watched it numerous times......inspiring. I feel all involved in sports should watch this movie......it would be a great movie to show in High Schools prior to football season as a source of encouragement and determination. I had to have this movie as part of my collection.

The morals and themes of this movie are priceless. This movie is for everyone young and old. A masterpiece movie that you can watch over and over and never tire from watching it. Every high school student, struggling college student or person stuck in a lousy job should see this movie for inspiration, motivation and fortitude. A definate must for your movie library!

I get chills everytime I watch the final scene where he tackles the QB. I love Sean Astin in Encino Man and that one movie he did with the hobbits.

As a woman, I don't even like sports--and yet this Movie kept me glued to it--by the end I was just crying in sheer joy! This film, based on a true story, is soooo inspiring! To see such courage and determination makes you realize what you can accomplish if only you dare to try and keep at it! The actors all do a fabulous job. I would recommend this to men, women, children, just everyone! I plan to watch it many times!

I purchased this DVD for my grandson who is just beginning to get involved in sports. It is a good movie for young people who want to see what working hard and having commitment towards a goal will bring to you. I had seen the movie before and knew about the story, which was based on a true story, was one worth sharing with my grandson.

The DVD was received immediately after being order. It is a great movie and the price was hard to beat. Everyone should have this movie in their collection.

I bought this movie because it is simple the best movie ever :) but the problem is that when i received this movie, the dvd was loose in the case, and some minor scratches ensued. the delivery time, however, was excellent, and if the dvd had not been loose I would have left an excellent rating.

First, one of the greatest sports movies of all time. Great football scenes. Fantastic, inspirational story line. The actors seem like they were made to act for this movie.

Second, really highlights some of the great things about college football. Gives a glimpse into the passion associated with college football. Even if you are not a Notre Dame fan, you will find excitement, suspense, and the thrill of the game in this movie.

Finally, it is a wholesome movie, one that you do not find so much these days. Teaches perseverance, setting big dreams and going after them, not giving up when all seems lost, and the importance of honesty, hard work, and friendship.

This is a movie that should be in everyone's movie library.

i wanted to contact the seller about this item so i wrote to him ebay said auction was over so the seller must not have recieved my email im really not pleased with ebay or paypal the prices seem to go up and the service is less im thinking about cancling both the item was broke when it came it was listed in very good condition i guess my idea of this must be different and i must be to fussy about getting good products or services

I love the movie, it was a good deal for a DVD that was in great condition. I have two children and it is a movie I can watch with them time and time again.

We like football so this is a good movie for us to enjoy. THe seller was a great communicator and sent the item in a timely manner.

What an inspiration!!! I think Sean Astin did a great portrayal of a character that all can relate to. A must see! PS: The ending of the movie, oh wow, was that not the best!!!

Excellent movie about overcoming large odds. A great motivaton and reality style movie. from being trapped in a factory own, doomed to repeat his familes demise, he (Rudy)goes to college and seeks to play football, even thougn he is small. But, he does nor just want to play for any college football team, but he wants to play for N.D. Go Irish!
