Rudolph the Movie has much in common with the Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer cartoon we've all come to look forward to. Since it's now a 90 minute movie additional ideas have been added and done quite well. Bob Newhart as the Polar Bear is wonderful and Whoopi Goldberg is outstanding as the evil Ice Queen Stormella. The animation is first rate and the music makes you want to sing along. I recommend this movie for a nice winter evening with the family.

Wonderful family holiday movie. We had this on VHS and just ordered it on DVD. A lot of stars perform the voices and it's a must have for any family who loves great Christmas movies.

) This version of the classic story of Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer adds some different plot developments, but keeps to the main story. It benefits from the talents of John Goodman and Whoopie Goldberg.

Bought for grandchild, it is now a Christmas tradition.Great family movie, it has become a Christmas tradition in our household. I bought this movie because the one we owned....we wore out. I would recommend to anyone who has children, or as in my case, grandchildren.

Rudolph is a favorite of my daughter and son. They also love music, so naturally I thought this one (with the well known named actors in it) would be a great addition having a musical plot. I was disappointed at some of the language that it has. Not vulgar, but offensive enough to us that I tossed it. We have enough of the other so called kids movies that don't cultivate innocence in children. What our kids see and hear directly affects how they act and talk. Why then are we so surprised to hear little kids when they repeat what we "feed" them.
