Royal RY6900 Vacuum

Just pulled it out of the box. Putting it together without reading the directions took 5 minutes. There is one plate and a pin you have to put together. It contains 5 screws. Screw them in, put the attachments in place, and you are done.
I did think that the machine was broken at first, because I turned it on and the suction was working, but the brushes were NOT turning. I than opened the manual and found out that you have to play around with the height adjustment button to make the brushes go on. I than vacuumed all of my rugs, and used the attachments on the stairs and baseboards. By-the-way, the rollers shut off when you put the vacuum in the upright position. Great feature that my last vacuum did NOT have!
This unit is fantastic! Alot of power, and my rugs look new again. The Royal completely blows away my last vacuum cleaner, and I would have paid $200 for a newer version on my 1996 Hoover. For the record the Hoover has been useless for the last 5 years, but I have been too lazy to replace it. I have been vacuumming the rugs twice(lol). I would never pay $700 for a vacuum cleaner, but I realise now why you would. The best part is it only cost me $189.95, so I am already ahead.
I own a Royal old-school hand vacuum (18 years now), and it is bulletproof. I hope this unit lasts as long.
