Roxy Music
Live at the Apollo DVD 2002
In the late 70s I had given up on rock/pop music, disco was everywhere. So I went classic rock. Who knew that there were people making actual listen-able music at the time. A friend has recently begun to expose me to some of the best!
This DVD recorded at the last performance of their 20th anniversery world tour is simply wonderful. 20 gems are performed brilliantly.
One of the special features I enjoy the most is the words selection. When you activate it the words of the songs appear at the bottom of the screen, so if you always wanted to what Bryan Ferry was singing or if you just want to sing along go for it.
There are some very strange songs like "In every dream come a heartache" and "For your pleasure". But then there are some songs you just can't get out of your head like "Avalon" and "My Only Love".
I like it. I like it alot.
