ROSWELL's plot appears to lean more towards the science fiction side of things thanks to an abundance of prominently featured extraterrestrial characters, but the teen drama actually focuses on the idea of romance between human and alien. Not surprisingly, the subsequent soundtrack finds many of its songs steeped in the age-old annals of love and all its mystery.
Bookended by two versions of Dido's folky trip-hop smash "Here With Me (Theme From Roswell)" are previously released cuts by Sheryl Crow (the lullaby-like "I Shall Believe"), Travis (the lighter-than-air "More Than Us"), and Stereophonics (a sweet and cheery "Have A Nice Day"). Other post-Britpop stalwarts making an appearance include Coldplay (the shimmering B-side "Brothers And Sisters"), Ash (the rollicking British smash "Shining Light"), and Doves (a previously unavailable cover of The Beatles' "Blackbird").
