Ross Cimarron 1.5 Fly Fishing Reel

This was my first entry-level Ross I purchased in 2000 and it was big difference from my Pflueger. It held up in saltwater fishing trips and still looks brand new. I like the self lubricating bushings that are almost maintenance free. I know that all fly reels are somewhat maintenance free as long as rinse it in warm freshwater after each use but I mistakenly did not rinse my Ross after a salt trip and no damage to the reel after I realized a few days later. I recommend this reel for anyone looking at a higher quality reel made in the USA. You can still get spare spools direct from Ross.
