Roseville in All Its Splendor by John Bomm, Nancy Bomm (1998, Book, Illustrated)

I am interested in collecting a certain Roseville vase, the Vista. But this specific book had color drawings original yes, but not actual photo's of the vases. I have seen other Roseville guides that actually have photo's of the vases and I prefer those to the one I purchased.

I highly recommend purchasing this for entry level or even the advanced Roseville collector. It is worth its' weight in gold. The photographs are splendid (no pun intendid). I found it to be very informative and exhaustive. Purchase one for you and one for a friend! Five Stars. *****

For those interested in American Roseville pottery, this is an indispensable book. Everything is there! I found about every piece I have bought or wanted to buy, and have found much information about the company from its beginnings to its last days.
The book does not have a very good research system, however. I was looking for a Pinecone pitcher I had bought. Nothing in the Pinecone pages. My pitcher didn't have a Roseville stamp on the bottom, but did have some dim letters. I went back to one of the old inventories contained in the book, and there was my pitcher, with the numbers included.
In other words, sometimes you might have to work hard to find a piece, and use some ingenuity of your own. But IT'S ALL THERE!
