I bought this DVD because I really like the show and wanted a permanent copy of my own to which I could watch it at any time and not when the tv stations decide I should watch it. I can choose which episode I want to watch as well. I especially enjoy comedies and this is one of my favorites.

First season may have some of the best episodes out of the series! If you purchase this DVD, I know you won't be unsatisfied. Watch it with the whole family and watch your kids laugh, there's nothing more precious.

I purchased Roseanne the First Season as a gift for my daughter. I plan on buying the complete series. She absolutely loves watching Roseanne and buying it on e-bay really saved me some money. I have been a fan of Roseanne for years ever since it was originally on tv. The are in my mind one fo the few shows that show real people with real problems. They are not skinny beautiful people that are sleeping with everyone and their brother. They fight, make up, love, and support each other like a real family. The face the same problems that we all face and they struggle like us. Its nice to have a family that I can feel a similarity with. The best part is that they solve their problems with each other and with alot of comedy. The onyl show that shows a real blue collar family.

I decided to buy the Roseanne DVD's because I love the t.v. series and I know they won't be on forever. Even though I have seen just about every episode there is, I still wanted to be able to watch them whenever I want to. I work 2 full-time jobs, so I never am able to watch them when they are on t.v. I am very pleased with my purchase.

The delivery was very prompt but it is a christmas for my daughter mother of 4 and I'll know more about the tape when she plays it.

My favorite Roseanne episodes are from the very first season. Its also great to be able to enjoy a show without commercials! I usually watch the reruns on Nick at Nite, but it gets too late sometimes. Now when there is nothing on tv, I can pop in the DVD and watch which ever episodes I like. I can really relate to this show and how I grew up. A lot of people don't like Roseanne, but I love this DVD!

Decided to buy it on half.com because it was cheaper then in the stores not to mention the convenience of it. It was a gift for someone else who watches the show on Nick at Nite all the time. Now she will be able to watch it any time she wants!

I really wish the seasons had alot more extras. I have watch this the other seasons over and over. Come on you like roseann you'll love having the season to watch when you want.

The first season was great. It is so funny. It has lots of hours of the first season shows. It contains 23 full episodes. Guest stars like George Cloony and Fred Dalton Thomas.

If you want a good laugh then Roseanne is a good sitcom for you to watch! I have never been disappointed by an episode and chances are I never will be! She's a bit crude, but her honesty is like none other--a real show that people can relate to...at least i can!

Roseanne in my opinion is one of the best comedy sitcoms ever made!This show makes me feel like a kid again with no worrys in life when I sit down and watch. This is a show I will continue to watch again and again. The 'real life, blue collar' humor never gets old. The characters are easy to relate to along with the storyline. Recommended for those who are looking for an 'easy laugh'.

i love this dvd , i love the show , like it or not this is a true american family they show the goodtimes the hard times but stil find a way to laugh.

This show is the best and you just can't stay mad or sad if you are watching it. Roseanne is a show that in the early years is about everyday people who have everyday problems. They have little money and dead end jobs.
