RORY GALLAGHER IRISH TOUR 1974 GREAT GUITAR JAM DVD!A+

This is one of Rory Gallagher's best performances caught on film. Shot in 1974 on his Irish Tour it captures the feel of the time and has great music. The DVD has been remastered in 5.1 surround sound and does Rory and his band justice in providing top-notch audio and video. The video takes you behind the scenes with interviews and makes you feel like you are there with a backstage pass. Rory has a great backup band as well, with Gerry McAvoy on bass, Lou Martin (formerly with Killing Floor) on piano, and Rod de Ath on drums. They really shine on "Walk On Hot Coals", "Tattoo'd Lady", "Who's That Coming", "A Million Miles Away", "Cradle Rock", "As the Crow Flies", & "Bullfrog Blues"...but all of it rocks. It's a great piece of work and a world class jam from the hands of a master. This is one great DVD that you'll want to watch and listen to over and over and over again! Buy it 'cause you'll be glad that you did.. The best!
