Movie Description
Created by James L. Brooks (THE SIMPSONS) in the late 1960s, ROOM 222 stars Lloyd Haynes as Pete Dixon, an idealistic high school teacher who helps mentor students through a variety of adolescent trials. Together with the guidance counselor, Liz McIntyre (Denise Nicholas), the dry-and-wry principal, Seymour Kaufman (Michael Constantine), and his sweet but flaky colleague, Alice Johnson (Karen Valentine), Mr. Dixon helps his teens cope with the issues of the day (such as the Vietnam War) as well as traditional teen problems, including young love and strained parental relations. This collection includes every episode from the Emmy-nominated drama’s first year on ABC, and features guest appearances by Teri Garr and Rob Reiner.
