Ronson, the World's Greatest Lighter by Urban K. Cummings (2000, Book, Illustrated)

I recently purchased this book when I realized I'd fallen in love with Ronson lighters, but knew nothing about them. It is a wealth of information! Thus far, it is the only book I've been able to find that focuses solely on the Ronsons. The book is compact and easily carried in a bag, cargo pocket, or purse. While only the front and back covers have colored pictures, the book contains 417 pages with black-and-white pictures. In addition to the pictures, there are very specific descriptions of the lighters, including color, dimensions, when manufactured, availability, and approximate range of value.

I said this was an invaluable resource for the novice, because that is what I am; however, I would think this would also contain information that is helpful for any Ronson collector.

The only thing that would make this book better would be to have more colored pictures and bring it beyond the year 2000!
