Ron White - You Can't Fix Stupid (DVD, 2006)

Hilarious DVD - Like others reviewing this, I wanted more. Ron White is a comic genius. This is a must have for any fan of Blue collar comedy.

Ron White is amongst my favorite comics. I LOVE raunchy humor and I like the way he delivers his punchlines at his own expense as well as other peoples expense. He still brandishes his cigarette and scotch on every show. It is like part of his "uniform". He has new material that just comes out and slaps your funny button. If you are amongst the squeemish at heart, you probably would not care for this comedian. I personally love raunchy humor. And is just HILARIOUS seeing this guy get funnier as he gets drunker. I like him enough that I would see him perfrom LIVE! I have seen 4-5 of his stand up routines and he has always delivered a good nights worth of laughter. And I have never regreted the time or money spent to watch him.

After previously watching the tater salad vid and now I have watched this I can't seem to get enough of Ron White. This video is more up to date but it does reference things that are explained in the tater salad video from 2004. Both are a great addition to my comedy collection.

My only complaint about this DVD is it's length. I could listen and laugh to Ron White's jokes for hours. If you enjoyed "Tater Salad" in the past, you will like this.

One of the best DVD's I have watched. I saw Ron in person and he is hilarious. You would want to get this.

The humor is adults only in a few places, but really quite good. I was pleased that he had new material from the blue collar comedy tour video. All around it
was very entertaining. Anyone that liked the Blue Collar Comedy Tour would like
this dvd.

ITS VERY FUNNY. IT WOULD BE EVEN MORE SUPER IT WERE LONGER, I COULD LISTEN ALL DAY! THIS IS A MUST HAVE FOR ANYONE WITH A SICK SENSEOF HUMOR. HE TALKS ABOUT HIS LIFE AND NEW WIFE. WHAT A GREAT DVD!

Ron White is a free spirit. He says what he thinks, smokes cigars and drinks whiskey during performances, and doesn't trouble himself with not "offending" someone. If you recall the kid from high school who pretty much disgusted everyone but had a certain endearing "devil-may-care" look about him, then you will appreciate Ron White. This DVD release contains material some of which I'd seen before on cable TV (but worth the reunion) and many bits that were new to me. White's blend of occasional salty language, sexual references, and clever observations on life makes for a good time, if one can handle a sweaty, half drunk, obnoxious comedian. Ron White is the loudmouth, profane guy who gets tossed out of the restaurant, but who gets everyone laughing in the process. He says what we'd like to be able to say. If sexual references and profanity bother you, don't get this DVD. But if you're in a mood to laugh without worrying what the other people watching think of you, Ron White's the guy to help you out.

Ron White is super funny, can't get enough of this guy! But I was dissappointed that the dvd wasn't longer, I thought it was too short!

Wow, it is sooo funny! I never would have thought that Ron White started his comedy so young and with next to no money. I like his new jokes, though. It is true..... you can't fix stupid!

Ron White....funny as always, but this one seemed a little extra vulgar.
Gave it away to a friend of mine who was OK with this.
I think Ron would be just as funny if he could leave at least some of the vulgarity out.

Ron White does it again, bringing many new jokes to the table. Definitely worth a watch.....or two. I Haven't been dissatisfied with any of his stand up and i look forward to new material.

In my opinion this is the best Ron White CD or dvd to date. You will roll with laughter while nodding your head and wiping away tears. Ron's delivery and deadpan style make you stop and think at times to completely discover the underlying truths and message Ron is presenting. I highly recommend this show if for some reason only one of Ron's shows is destined for your collection.

love this guy..keep um coming..always get a few good laughs from and relatable person..of course could be a bit longer just cuz can always use another laugh!!!

THIS DUDE IS FRIGGIN HILARIUOS,FUNNIEST OF THE BLUE COLLAR GUYS.SAW HIM ON THE BLUE COLLAR TOUR DVD AND HAD TO HAVE ONE OF HIS DVDS. NOT FOR YOUNG EARS THOUGH.WILL BUY ANOTHER ONE OF HIS DVDS.

I thought it was funny,I have a copy of the DVD myself, and decided to give it to someone as a gift for christmas

THIS IS A GREAT STAND-UP COMEDIAN AND WE LOVE EVERYTHING HE DOES.I BOUGHT THIS FOR MY HUSBAND FOR CHRISTMAS BECAUSE I GOT TIRED OF RUNNING TO VIDEO SHOP TO RENT IT

I like Ron White and it was a good buy. Comedy is my favorite dvds to watch. Not much of a TV person--to much of the same ole stuff all the time.

Wow! I was very disappointed with this! Ron White was HILARIOUS when he appeared on the Blue Collar Tour stand-up's, but this dvd was terrible. I think maybe two things that he said were funny enough to smile at. It was very disappointing. This dvd DOES NOT consist of Ron White's best material, or even good material for that matter. And it was only about thirty minutes long. I'm used to the hour or so shows with all of the boys from Blue Collar so this also disappointed me. And Ron White reiterated a few of his jokes that he used on his previous stand-ups, so the material was also older. I suggest you do not buy this dvd, you will be disappointed. If you want to see the best of Ron White, purchase the Blue Collar Tour dvd's..."On the Road" etc. Those were MUCH better. I hope this helps.

Refreshingly honest and always funny.He's able to laugh at himself and the male psche and getting us to go along...great humor, and not gender slams but extreme funny.
