Romy and Michele's High School Reunion (DVD, 1999)

My sister and I LOVE this movie. We have always wanted it on DVD but it is pretty hard to find in stores.

If your looking for a good movie that provides fun and entertainment without thinking, this is one of them. It's not a movie for all people, but anyone who is dreading their 10 year school reunion (esp. if it was in the 80's!) or has been to theirs will feel close to the thoughts and ordeals that Romy & Michelle go through.

Overall a excellent comedy with character and heart, and the addition of Janeane Garofalo and her character really put the movie into a memorable adventure.

I love this movie because it rings so true. We all want to appear successful to the people who we graduated with. I just love the corny comedy.

I saw this movie on cable about 2 yrs ago and wanted to see it again. I couldn't find it anywhere so I checked out ebay and as always, it was there for sale. This seller had it for the best price (a great deal) and shipped it out right away! This is one of those movies that never gets old. For anyone who has been to a class reunion or looking forward to going to one soon, this movie is a must! A really feel good movie! Not too many out there like this one! Would love to see a sequel to Romy & Michele's High School Reunion!

Silly, funny, a great laugh. A classic! Something everyone can relate to. Two girls returning to their high school reunion wanting to seeem successful!

This is a very funny movie! If you want to (LOL) then this is a must see!

i love everything about this movie. it's a classic and is a hilarious view of what high school REALLY is!

I really love this movie, it takes me back to the time of high school and best friends. Reminds me of my best friend and myself. This movie is about two women who live together and are best friends. They decide to go to their 10 year high school reunion. Planning to wow all their old classmates by pretending that they are high power business women. They come up with a lie to tell everyone at the reunion, alas, their plan doesn't work out as well as they had hoped, and you get to go along for the ride with their comedic antics.
Mira Sorvino, Lisa Kudrow, Janeane Garafalo, Alan Cumming, Camryn Manheim, amongst the list of actors that really pull this light hearted, return to the 80's comedy together.

i bought it for a christmas present for one of my friends. it came in great condition, no scratchs or anything and it was shrink wrapped so it looked new :) thank you very much!

LOVE THIS GOOFY MOVIE ABOUT THE 80'S BROUGHT BACK ALOT OF MEMORIES FROM MY HIGH SCHOOL YEARS HOWEVER I DIDN'T GO TO MY TEN YEAR REUNION BUT AFTER SEEING THIS MOVIE I WOULDN'T MISS MY TWENTY YEAR REUNION. GOOD MOVIE

oh i love this movie, it's so funny, one of my favorites! lisa kudrow and mira sorvino are hilarious! i had it on vhs and it was time to own it on dvd, only you can't find it on dvd in any stores, so this was an easy way to find it buying online.

This is a really special and understated comedy. Mira and Lisa are goofy and sexy at the same time. Janeane Garofalo does great in a limited role. The only mild disappointment is Alan Cummings in a mis-cast but credible performance. The underlying theme is coming of age in an original way, and years later being freed from the mis-guided, shallow expectations imposed in teen years.

I love this movie. It's a hilarious comedy about 2 girls trying to impress their former classmates by making up an outrageous success story. After failing the girls figure that being themselves was the best revenge to their classmates.

I Love this movie. The actors are great and work very well together. It's a fast pace movie and reminds me of how I feel about High School Reunions! Also it is funny and a great pick me up movie.

Both Mira Sorvino and Lisa Kudrow are great in this movie about two young women remembering their high school days and going to their reunion pretending to be successful in order to impress everyone who gave them trouble.

This is great for anyone who dealt with "clicks" in school. It shows the trivial stuff that can make some miserable. I liked this movie for the example it gives about thinking for yourself. It's light,funny and I love hearing that old 80's music!

It came in a very timely manner, was wrapped in protective packaging . The movie was an excellent choice and would be enjoyable for the entire family over 13 yrs. old. It probably wouldn't be as enjoyable to the elderly population.

If you had a best friend in high school, you'll LOVE LOVE LOVE this film. Premise is two best friends living together in L.A. are alerted to their 10 year high school reunion through a chance encounter with another former student. Reminiscing together, they decide to perk up their lives and impress the hell out of everyone from their class. Things don't go well, but the only improvement they need is a good story and great wardrobe. Things go awry when their story gets blown to peices, and they tell the truth. But then things turn out EVEN BETTER after all. It's a fairy tale story with a fairy tale ending. The way good movies should be. The interaction between Lisa Kudrow and Mira Sorvino is PRICELESS! They play ditz to a new comedic level. Also featured are Jeneane Garafalo, Camryn Manheim, Alan Cumming and Justin Theroux. ABSOLUTELY FUNNY FROM THE START!!!!!!!!! I wish MY reunion had a Romy & Michele in it!

I love this movie I always wanted to buy it but it was hard to find and it reminded me of my high school not the reunion part but everything else. This is also the 3rd time I am writing a review on this DVD.
