| Movie Description This triple feature presents three of the best romantic tearjerkers. For his adaptation of William Shakespeare's ROMEO AND JULIET (1968), director Franco Zeffirelli made the inspired choice of casting teenaged actors in the leads (Olivia Hussey and Leonard Whiting), adding an extra dimension of beauty and tragedy to the timeless saga of star-crossed lovers caught in their feuding family's crossfire. Acting fireworks are on display in FALLING IN LOVE (1984) as Robert DeNiro and Meryl Streep play two everyday people who meet by chance on a commuter train and fall desperately in love--despite the fact that they are both married. And in LOVE STORY (1970), a rich college student (Ryan O'Neal) and a poor musician (Ali McGraw) fall in love and weather family opposition and terminal illness.
