Lenore, the queenliest dead girl
Edgar Allan Poe called Lenore "the queenliest dead that ever died so young" in his poem "A Paean;" it was not published as "Lenore" until 1843. Roman Dirge, inspired by the poem, made a comic involving the misadventures of Lenore, the Cute Little Dead Girl.
If you like your humor inappropriate, disrespectful, wacky and actually funny, this is for you. Each novel collects 4 comics, so it's a great way to jump into the series, or just read four.
