this is one of the best cd's in long time, the acoustic guitar is amazing. they are amazingly talented, and can play up a storm.

TO APPRECIATE THIS MUSIC, YOU REALLY HAVE TO SEE THEM PERFORM AND PLAY THIS MUSIC, ITS AWESOME BUT MORE APPRECIATED BY LOOKING TO SEE WHO AND HOW THEY PLAY... WHAT I DIDN'T LIKE ABOUT THE DVD, WAS POOR EDITING, THIS GIRL CAN'T SPEAK VERY GOOD ENGLISH, AND THAT'S OK, BUT SHE HAS A PRETTY DIRTY MOUTH FOR A PRETTY GIRL..... AND THAT TURNED ME OFF BECAUSE I WAS SHOWING THESE PEOPLE TO MY KIDS AND FRIENDS AND PROUD OF THEM.... TIL.......SHE SPOKE... CLEAN UP YOUR MOUTH GIRL!!!

I heard them on a NPR radio review and thought I would like it. I was wrong, I absolutely loved it. My whole family was resistant to this until I first showed them the video and then let them listen to the CD. Wow! Most fantastic display guitar creavtivness you will ever let your ears listen to. Amazing talent.

I saw these two at the Coachella music festival last weekend and they blew my mind! The handspeed is incredible, they are both extremely gifted. I love music, all kinds, and I am not exagerrating when I state that Rodrigo y Gabriela are the real deal! They started out as thrash metal and they now play acoustic (probably to reach a larger audience) and add there own percussion as they pop the base of the guitar in between strumming it. Get the Digipack! You have to see the DVD, and if you love guitar play, you will not be disappointed by these two virtuoso musicians.

I first saw this duo on late night TV and was blown away by their skill. I am going to be giving this CD to my sister as a gift. She loves classical and latin influenced guitar music. I showed her some clips of them playing that I found online. I recommend this cd to anyone who loves well played classical guitar.

Incredible guitar duo with a unique style. Their version of "stairway to heaven" is totally awesome and should be heard by everybody. The sound recording quality is very good and a dvd is included in the package. Highly recommended.

This cd of Rodrigo y Gabriela is simply amazing. This
cd is great for ANYONE!!! However, if you are one who does
not wish to listen to instrumentals/classical music. Then this
might not be for you, because it is all about guitar/instrumental.
The way Rodrigo y Gabriela move through this song is very swift and
NATURAL. They don't push or over do any kind of dynamic flow in the song.
Great cd to just relax, and even have as background music to most things!
This is the MODERN music of my world, and probably yours as well!

I'm a stereophile and music is as important to me as sound quality. This record is a 5 (out of 5) in terms of music and 4 in terms of sound quality.

I really like the music of this duo. I can not be labeled as any specific kind of music, but it is fantastic. I has a lot of rock and jazz influence with a Spanish twist. They flawlessly perform very difficult material and they even use the guitars for percussion. The DVD is a plus because it contains interviews where they talk about their origins and you can actually see their amazing performance.

What can I say, I am a big fan of gypsy jazz and latin rhythms, these 2 musicians are new and muy caliente!!! No disappointment here.

As a life long guitar aficionado, and a classically trained guitarist,I promise you that this CD is truly monumental and timeless. This will rival ANYTHING that you have ever heard. I was fortunate enough to see Segovia live in concert and that was jaw-dropping. Parkening was truly great. I was introduced to their music from a friend who is a professional guitarist. The melodies and syncopated rhythms draw the listener in with such an intensity that all other activities may cease. This is not a passive album that can be played as background music. I tried to play it in a Computer Based Training class that I teach. However, the students stopped studying and enjoying the music. The bonus DVD is the true way to experience the music. To see throes of young people passionately enjoying two acoustic guitars shows there is hope that music has not permanently digressed to digital reproduction with a lack of creativity.

Bid on it, won it, paid for it, never received it. Heard some of their music & was anxious to get the CD. But alas, I guess it wasn't meant to be.

I bought this CD because I have heard their music on my local radio station. I enjoy the high spirited tempo the songs have to offer. I am taking guitar lessons and love acoustical music so this was right up my alley.

I saw this duo (brother and sister, as I recall) on a late night TV talk show, and was blown away. Searched locally in stores for the CD (including the one that said on TV that they had it), got blank looks from clerks and a lot of excuses (like they didn't know what genre to file it in) so I went to eBay and *BINGO* I found it! The fact that it is a digipak is a bonus, I didn't realize that when I bought it. The music is outstanding, very upbeat and refreshing, and I enjoyed the enclosure that tells about the duo and their lyrics and inspiration. This CD is a must-have if you enjoy accoustical guitar with classical influences, jazz, and latin all in one package. Its great!

Absolutely brings their music to life. The best guitar music ever. Saw them on TV and fell in lover with both of them. I'd love to see them in person. If you are looking to purchase a guitar CD, this is a must.
