Rodgers and Hammerstein's Oklahoma! (DVD, 2003)

did not want to write review until we had watched to DVD. Movie was wonderful and already a family favorite!!! Thank you! Movie arrived in perfect shape it was mailed quickly and we are very satified with every aspect of our puchase.

This DVD is a true treasure for all Hugh Jackman fans! And for all Oklahoma! fans. It contains cool features and excellent performances by all the actors. It also has behind the scenes interviews with the cast...AWESOME watch, highly recommended!

A Big Fan of the 60's version this is an Amazing production of Okla Homa. It is like you are right there literally. If you are a fan of Musicals that are not based off of TV shows, Movies or different versions of Operas you are going to love this...well any Fan of Musicals would love this. And lets face it, Hugh Jackman need we say More, an Incredible Actor all around!

I saw it! I loved it! A great production of Oklahoma! Hugh is wonderful, even when his Aussie accent gets in the way of his southern drawl! Very entertaining.

Bought it as a birthday gift for a friend who's an avid Hugh Jackman fan. Because it was a PBS produced event, I thought that it might be difficult to find. I was happy that this seller had a copy of it available in excellent condition.

This PBS production is nothing more than a filmed version of the actual stage production, Oh but what a fine job they did. Although filmed directly from the stage there's nothing "stagey" about it. The songs have never sounded more lovely. Hugh Jackman is stunningly good as Curly and as sexy a man as I have ever seen. This version is far better than the 50's Hollywood movie.

This is an awesome movie Hugh Jackman is fantastic In fact all the characters are great. Very fun to watch over and over again. Much better than the old hollywood version. have no reservations about purchasing this one.

This is a great dvd and one of the best productions I have seen of Oklahoma. I bought it because I think Hugh Jackman is very talented and there is practically no other way to hear his recorded voice other than this dvd.

The best version of Oklahoma I've ever seen. Oklahoma! is a simple musical. The characters, plot, dancing, and music are all straight forward. The key to Oklahoma! is the PERFOMANCE. The perfomances are what makes this show GREAT. The Disc's visual and audio quality is excellent, and that why i've rated this a 5/5, basing it purely on the musical. The bonus disc wasn't impressive and I didn't understand why it was on a seperate disc. Rodgers and Hammerstein did a great job with their first collaboration. So, if you're looking for something that is simple, easy to follow and has some great perfomances, than Oklahoma! will make you feel right at home, setting on a surrey, with the fringe on top.
