Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella (VHS, 1995)

I have loved this for years. Definitely a must see. The kids loved it too!
Rodgers and Hammerstein music is so neat!

I remember watching this movie as a child anytime it came on television. It was made in 1964. The moment I saw it on Ebay I "had" to have it. It's Leslie Ann Warren's first movie and also starring Stuart Damon (best known from General Hospital as Dr. Alan Quartermaine.) It was just a great all round musical!

I love this movie. It is my all time favorite, most romantic movie i have ever watched. That is also why i bought the movie.

The VHS tape was in perfect condition and arrived in a timely manner. It was brand new as advertised and of good quality. My 5 year old adopted neice loved it and a group of us watched it at her 5th birthday party. She has since watched it many times. Thank you so much.

I brought the Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella movie a little while ago and I was really impressed with it. I really enjoyed the movie with the family. I hadn't seen it since I was a kid. I'm glad I was able to find a copy or it.

I had been looking for this movie and was excited when I found it on ebay I wanted to share it with my grandaughter I was impressed by the condition the movie was in and how well the packaging was.

I remember watching this version as a child. I loved it then and this classic version is my favorite.

The costumes are royal and the music is beautiful. I love this movie.

Remembering seeing Cinderella as a child, I was glad to see a video of it available on eBay. It makes for a bit of light entertainment (in the midst of all the presidential campaign rhetoric), and seen by today's standards, it might seem a bit campy. But it is still a delightful slice of period Americana. I remember as a child thinking how long Lesley Ann Warren's neck was and how handsome the prince - they still are.

I bought this movie because of Roger and Hammerstien's stellar record of producing famous classic musicals. As I love the story of Cinderella, I thought the combination of favorite story with unserpassed musical genious could prove to be a fabulous experience. And it is! This movie deserves to be right up their with their other famous productions! The musical scores are undeniably Roger & Hammerstien style, and the lyrics are absolutely engaging!!! (You will be singing these delightful tunes for the next week!) This movie is near the top of my musical favorites; both for enchanting songs and enchanting performance. A real treat indeed for any fan of musical films.
The story begins with a glimps into the heart of Cinderella's prince. Wearily he returns to his kingdom after extensive and perilous travels. And his one regrett is that he has not found his true love.
Cinderella is portrayed delightfully by Lesley Ann Warren, whose kind heart and vivid imagination cannot be crushed by a cruel and demeaning stepmother.
Cinderella's stepmother and sisters are a constant sourse of amusement. And the prince has a fabulous sence of humour!
It is pure magic when Cinderella appears at the ball, and the true love that blossoms between her and the prince is so joyous and tender that it can not fail to melt your heart!
Absolutely first rate family entertainment that will sweep you off your feet, lift your spirits, and make you believe that impossible things really can happen every day!
Worth every penny!

I looked casually for this video for years and after I had my little girl it was a must find! Find it I did and it was just as I remembered from my childhood and wonderous even after all these years. Although the "special effects" seemed a bit archaic, the musical score reminds us why Rodgers & Hammerstein were the genius team they were. The songs remain relevant and some, still hauntingly beautiful. Leslie Ann Warren is Cinderella for a generation of little girls and Stuart Damon is handsome and regal as the prince. Their duets are lovely and Ginger Rogers waltzing as Queen Constantina is as elegant as ever.

I purchased this video because it was one of my favorite movies as a child and I wanted to watch it again with my granddaughter. We both enjoyed watching the story unfold and singing along with the songs. Most Enjoyable!

I bought it because I seen it years ago when I was a child! I just finally watched it today with my Mother (86 yrs old) and she said it was her best movie ever that she seen! It was a wonderful movie!
