Rodan / War of The Gargantuas (DVD, 2008, 2-Disc Set)

I was really happy with my purchase. This DVD set enables you to watch either the dubbed English versions of Rodan and War of the Gargantuas or the original Japanese versions. My son loves the Gargantua movie, which is difficult to find in the DVD format. Excellent purchase!

this is a classic movie, i seen it when i was a child and still remembered it. i recomend it to anyone that likes godzilla movies, this is just as good

You can't really go wrong with this. If you're a fan of Japanese monster movies, you'll have a great time watching these. Both have great writing and great campy special effects, and I could easily recommend this to anyone who knows what a Kaiju is.

The only gripe is that I didn't like the endings of either of them (which are pretty much the same ending.) Still, I think that's a minor gripe--they're still awesome movies.

RODAN and THE WAR OF THE GARGANTUAS are two of Toho's best giant monster films, and both were subjected to awkward and unnecessary Americanization jobs. With this welcome release, USA fans can now easily and cheaply make their comparisons, as Japanese and USA versions of both films are generously included.

This film so brought me back to my childhood. Saturday night with popcorn to watch one of the great Japanese monster movie. It was one of my favorite pass time with my Dad. This one is one of the classics! And you get two for the price of one! Excellent!

This was a very smooth transaction. Was concerned about the shipping timeline since it was during the Christmas rush, but the DVD arrived in time and in the condition promised. both movies/dvds are the same as i remembered when they first came out. the monsters are great, the armies that are trying to destroy them are small, plastic and always fake
