Rocky Mountain Phazer II Radar Detector

I have two of these units (front & rear) and they work well at a distance and may give you an advantage of a few seconds to slow down near a speed trap. You must have an excellent radar detector like a Valentine One or Rocky Mountain Radar's RMR-C450. These are more effective is the cars in front of you are being clocked. In a lone situation your goose may be cooked.Unfortunatly the Police are now using Vascar (a timing method) & Lidar which is a beam of light devised to focus on your tag or other lighted area on your vehicle. Radar detectors cannot pick this up. Unsafe drivers are usually aggressive but most car crashes are not caused by speeders so tickets are just a money game. Your best bet is to move over to the right lane when you see oncoming drivers and let things progress as normal. Oh and don't be a hater and call the cops when you're afraid to drive a little fast.
