Synopsis A a novelization of the postmodern parody of science-fiction and horror films of the 1930s. It tells the story of two midwestern innocents, Brad and Janet, whose car breaks down outside the castle of Dr. Frank N. Furter, a transsexual transvestite from the planet of Transylvania. While an internecine struggle breaks out between Frank N. Furter and several members of his household who wish to overthrow him (he is, in fact, the leader of a secret mission to corrupt the planet Earth), Brad and Janet become initiated (with less and less resistance as time goes on) into the secrets and pleasures of sexual debauchery.
