great older amp runs well when used correctly heats up when ohm below 1/2 will remain stable above 1 ohm.

Precisely the quality I expect from Rockford Fosgate! The amplifier is in great shape and does exactly what I bought it to do. As an A/V technician I am now addressing another issue with my bass output which is the subwoofer enclosure sizes. I tried to maximize output by parelleling my dual voice coil subs and although the output increased, my new amp was intolerant of the ohm load at the high volume. It immediately ran too hot and went into protection mode. Only seconds later it began playing again. Needless to say I rewired the subs in series and the amp now runs nice and cool. This series of amps has always been the best on the market. They are bulletproof and the sound quality is unmatched. I had a very professional experience with the seller.
