Two of Goddard's most important rocket science texts
Two excellent early documents about rocket science, written by the inventor of the liquid propellant rocket engine (in 1926). Important reading for all serious students of rocketry and propulsion science. Goddard built and tested most of these pioneering rockets near Roswell, New Mexico in the 1930s. Some of his rocketry relics are on exhibit both there, and at the Smithsonian Institute Air and Space Museum. We think Goddard's "Liquid Propellant Rocket Development" is also a valuable book to study.
