The Rocker (DVD, 2009, 2-Disc Set; Digital Copy; Checkpoint, Sensormatic)

This movie had every thing that a good comedy should have. I have not laughed so hard from a movie in so long. I loved it. I watched the movie that I had rented and Immediately bought it on ebay.

This is a very entertaining comedy with a good original music score and a plot that will keep you interested while your laughing!!
The background soundtrack is top shelf if your a headbanging rocker!!
Originally saw this flick, out of state, at a friend's home and decided that I had to have it. Raine Wilson is hilarious and pathetic at the same time. Christina Applegate is great as a "mom" and looks fabulous!!!!

Ok bottom line... fans of Dwight from the US TV show can thoroughly enjoy this flick. Anybody else might want to see School of Rock instead. Yeah, it had sooo many cliche story turns and plot points but it was actually funny and entertaining. I don't understand what Teddy Geiger is trying to do, it's a movie not a modeling shoot, bud. I guess girls that have it in for him will check this out as well. I'll probably watch it again soon because of how much I enjoyed Rainn Wilson's humorous performance.

I loved this movie because it was set in Ohio for one. But the story was great. a guy gets kicked out of his hair band in the 80's and 20 years later he gets picked up by his nephew's band and he still has the hair. The music is great, any of these songs could easily be on the radio today without missing a beat.

I love Rainn Wilson in "The Office" but was unsure about this movie. I figured it might be worth a rent but saw a great deal on eBay so decided to pick it up. Ten Minutes into the movie I was already happy with my purchase. The rest of the movie is not quite as funny as the beginning but it is charming and funny throughout. I probably could have given this movie an excellent rating had it not had the worst music i could imagine. A movie called the rocker should be a little more AC/DC and a little less Hanson. That being said I did enjoy the movie and will likely watch it a few more times.

If you are a comedy lover such as myself I could definitely recommend this movie for purchase, if you only enjoy the occasional comedy then it'd probably be a good title to go on the netflix queue.

I am a music guy so I like movies that have anything to do with music, but expecally rock. The Rocker is like the new School of Rock movie! Great for anyone that loves the rock empire.

This movie was very good. Raine was funny. Overall the movie was not as funny as I hoped it would be.

I love this movie! I saw it this summer at a Drive-In and knew I had to have it ! plus being a fan of rainn wilson who stars as dwight in the office tv show on NBC this movie doesn't disappoint! It is very funny!
