Rock Revolution (Playstation 3, 2008)

Tis game is different than guitar hero and rock band ofcourse, but for the price you cannot beat it.... only game with pantera in it!!!! will buy #2 if it comes out...

I decided to purxhase this item because I wanted something a bit different than Guitar Hero and Rock Band style, so I thought I would give this a try. Its a cheaper version of the other two games, which makes it somewhat easier. Still its difficult passed the medium standard, its GUI is a bit different. You have choices on how to go through the game, which makes the game play seemingly the same, however the graphics seem to be something from the Playstation 2 era. The game is good for the price that was paid, and the good thing is, you dont need to purchase any new equipment to play it. It works well with the dual guitars for guitar hero and rock band. I have not tried it with the drums, since those are on my Christmas list. As it states though, the game can keep up with the giants of the music game genre, it just takes a little getting use to.

Overall rating of this game for me is 7.5 out of 10.

This game is in no way as good as other titles such as Guitar Hero or Rock Band. The artists aren't even the real ones either. Bottom line is, it's generic.

Christmas present for cousin-- ok game play. Honestly, for the price bought, worth the deal. But other games are better in comparison.

A cheap alternative for Rock Band that is just that. Cheap... Poor graphics and hard to play. The kids were disappointed in this game.

The the game is a very bad version of guitar hero. The game sounds like singers would sing for a karaoke dvd

I hate this game i wouldnt recommend it to anyone. It has horrible gameplay and is very difficult to read the charts the way the notes go down the highway.

Everything is perfect about this game its very nice and can play it for hours without getting bored but it needs a couple of bands amd songs more comparing with guitar hero...

After reviewing the games that are compatabile with Guitar Hero World Tour & Rock Band, this is a great add-on! You will not waste your money on this game. Go for it & you will not regret it. Yes PS3 has made mistakes with American Idol, Encore, & Encore 2, however, this is a grand slam!!!!!

I got this game because I like games like rockband and guitar hero.The song selection is good with artist like pantera,skidrow,system of a down and a few others.The graffics are BAD!!The playablity is alwso second rate to that of GH and RB.If your looking to kill a little bit of time I would get this but I would not pay over 10.00.This game was just slapped together and it shows.
