In Rock, Burn and Machine Head are my 3 all-time favorite Deep Purple releases and for very good reasons. The songs are all stout, lyrically and musically. With one of the best vocalists in music history, outstanding lead guitar and a smooth jammin' bassist helped by some of the most creative use of keyboards by any band in history its no wonder that Deep Purple is one of the best selling and long lasting of all the power bands that came outta the UK in the late 1960's. If you are a fan of hard rock music then this is simply a must own for your collection! If your a Purple fan then you probably already own this, and have for years.

This is the album that put Deep Purple on the map. With its relentless driving rythms and melodies, Deep Purple, with the release of this album, literaly invented high energy rock and roll.

Ritchie Blackmore's manic guitar playing and Jon Lords juiced up hamond organ have seldom been equaled. This is a must have for any rock music collection.

I grew up on this stuff, Deep Purple was ahead of their time and these guy's kick. That's why I bought this.
