Robot Hive/Exodus [Digipak] by Clutch (CD, Feb-2006, RTE)

Having never heard Clutch before, I was surprised with this album. It's a great combination of different musical styles, the lyrics are bizarrely well written, and almost every song has its own merits (though "The Incomparable Mr. Flannery", "Mice and Gods", "10001110101", and "Gravel Road" are the overall standouts). Even if you've never heard Clutch before, or if you've only heard their previous albums, check this one out.

CLUTCH has been around as long as Korn, and they have just as many cds out if not more...you gotta check em out!!!!!!!

Clutch has a different sound all their own. It's a great c.d...I bought it for one song (101001110101) and it turns out that most of the songs on there are just as good. I like the fact that this band has invented their own sound...a lot of bands mimic a lot of other bands, and it's hard to tell them apart sometimes, but not Clutch! I love the lead singer's voice...husky and deep...great listening. Buy it!
