Robocop 2 (DVD, 2004)

I'm thankful that I found this movie.I needed it for my collection and I couldn't find it near by.The seller was excellent on communication and the price was reasonable.

Robocop 2 may not be as powerful as the original however, this is a great film which explores another side to Robocop. The effects are well made and the acting is just as good as the original. Theres some great directing too. A decent sequel with a great story!

Plot:

A few months after RoboCop defeats Clarence Boddicker and Dick Jones. His job is far from done, and several issues make it so. The Detroit police is on strike, OCP is developing both a new robot officer to replace him and to begin construction of "Delta City" to replace Detroit. To make matters worse, there is a new group of criminals who made a new drug called "Nuke", led by a man only named "Cain". RoboCop and his partner Anne Lewis must get the Detroit police back on its feet, Defy OCP, and stop Cain. Plus, OCP may even have something for Cain as well.

I grew up on Robocop and this film is nothing short of bad ass. If you want to see Murphy walking around pulling out his magnum and wasting some of the grimmest dirt bags that Detroit has ever seen this film is for you.

Robocop 2 is as good a sequel as good as I have seen in a long time. And have
Peter Weller and Nancy Allen back again. It is all in all a fun movie to watch.

i love the movie...i watch a 3 year old and he loves it...when i bought it it was also brand new so that was also cool.

This film continues soul searching for Officer Murphy trying to deal with being Robocop. There are so many shades of gray this time around but one villain remains the same, the OCP corporation. This film also has a great robot villain for Robocop to face but the storyline is not as good as before. When man merges with machine will he still have a soul? Robocop points toward yes. Good action, effects, & a twisted look at the future. A Must see for fans of the series & sci-fi fans alike. 4/5
